Prepare to upgrade pen/coop quickly. Also there is an Okie thread for later and closer help. Yes they are messy. Later you will need a kiddie pool that will occasionally need cleaned for them to swim/bathe/play in.
We already take them out back to play in the water and forage in the grass when the weather is warm enough. The last few days it has been to cold so I swim them in the tub. Yesterday they knew it was bath time but I was busy cleaning the the rabbits cage and they would not stop their incessant peeping until the last of the 4 got put into the tub! We are working on transforming an old trampoline frame into a duck run. We had it set up at one point as a run for the rabbit. It didn't work for him because he just dug underneath and got out. So I'm toying around with ideas right now. They are definitely growing fast and are already almost to tall for the current cage they are in as it doesn't have high sides and they are poop shooters.;)

We got them from Atwoods and the guy there didn't know the exact age. He said they get them at a few days old and he thought they had been there about a week. We have had them 2 weeks today. SO, that would make them just shy of 4 weeks at best guess.
Cute! They look like they are about 4 weeks old in the pictures. Congratulations! I LOVE ducklings! It's a shame that they grow up so fast.

WELCOME! From a fellow Okie❤
This site will not disappoint..guaranteed!! I had absolutely no intentions of getting ducks but decided one day to waste some time in Tractor Supply...and that's where it all started My daughter and I stumbled across the ducks, sweet and fluffy. The lady working informed my 9 year old daughter that they were only .25 cents because they were a week older than the little fuzzy ones. Of course we came home with 4 ducks because in her lil mind we were rescuing them since no one wanted them. We went all in and built a coop and run before I even goggled "raising ducks". So then we had a coop that was useless to the piggies (ducks) because they refuse to set foot in it and that led to us getting 6 chicks. And then 2 more. And then 4 more...lol This is all with a 2 month span! I would be so clueless without all the help from the Pros on this site. I think you'll enjoy it!!!
