Hi all!

Completely new to the chicken world. I grew up a city girl and my husband a country boy. He did the chicken/cow/pig stuff growing up. Now that we live back out in the country, we are excited to start bringing the farming and livestock life to our 3 children.

I'll continue to poke around and look forward to getting to know everyone!

. I am new to raising chickens as well. I'm from SE Okla. My dad raised chickens
when I was a youngster, but, I think everything is different now. We started with 10 pullets/hens about a month ago.
I started getting one egg every day to every other day. The other hens are showing signs like squatting and getting
up multiple times a day. My 6 younger ones aren't due to lay until May. Then, I got 6 babies yesterday. I'm 'way too
excited for anyone's good. I have found so much good info on this site.
