It's so nice to finally get a break from all of this cold weather! I always have fun going out to work on my barn when the weather breaks. It's not so much fun when I have to do emergency repairs when it's negative temps outside.

Thanks !!! so far so good. I'm done the coup and now I'm going to look at another coup for inside my barn.

I've been counselled on another thread that the high nest box won't work ... but my hens lay up there and they did again this morning. So, I think they chose that spot and that's it lol!!! I get the feeling hen habits die hard. Also there are three 2x4 rafters just out of the picture at the top ... and they were crawling up there this morning.

I'm not sure how my new hens will integrate ... but we'll see!
