Hello from Orlando

Hello everyone!

Long time researcher, first time poster, and chicken owner.

We are currently raising 4 chicken in the Sunshine state. Started them out from chicks which have been a great experience for myself and the kids. It's amazing how much personality each of them have. They're almost 4 month old now and hopefully they're all ladies.

We're learning a great deal from the BYC community!

That's so fun, and yes-- you'll probably soon find out if you have any surprise roosters! My rooster who was supposed to be a pullet just looked older and more like a full-grown chicken at first, until he got super aggressive lol! But good luck and have fun enjoying fresh eggs in the coming months! Glad you joined us!
