We are a family from southern california who is about a year into our backyard chicken journey! We have three at the moment, although two are roosters who need new homes, and we are seeking new adult hens to add to our flock.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? (( We are brand new to chickens, but love them already!))
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? ( Three, two Roosters ( William and Siren ) and one hen ( Frida)
(3) What breeds do you have? Silver Laced wyandottes and Lavender Orpington
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They have brought us closer as a family, and brought joy to our lives and character to our home
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? We are a family with varied hobbies, Biking, Skating , Writing Music, Cooking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We also have two cats who are utterly afraid of any chicken and two sweet house rats who are very loved.
