from Indiana! Glad you decided to speak up!

Welcome!! How do your Ridgebacks do with the chickens? I have a Ridgeback who:
#1 - Thinks I am personally responsible for all the cold white stuff on the ground
#2 - Thinks food on any counter or table or stove belongs to her
#3 - Thinks I am the worst mom until I turn her heated bed on if the house is below 70

She does not bother our cats, bunnies, birds or the other dogs, but chickens or worse yet, the eggs? My babies are scheduled to arrive in May, and of course their coop will be fenced in completely, but who knows if she will see the birds as portable dinner?

Yes I do breed rhodesian ridgebacks(what gave it away) I also breed pointers and have a few whippets. The ridgebacks are pretty good with the chickens I have a new puppy that is about 7 months old who is curious but I think will be fine because he is growing up around them. The older ones will listen but I would not trust them alone.
