none of them got hurt thankfully. i actually saw one of them do it. she wanted to jump from part of the roof to another across a gap of 7-8 feet!. She attempted a dare devil stunt. and almost made it. she then used her wings to land safely on the ground. I dont know why they use 'chicken' as a synonym for 'coward' 
i have observed them to be quite brave! They have seem to have learnt its not worth it. and haven't done it for a long time now. These birds are smart
