Hello there !!! Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself !! I'm an animal lover from jersey now living in farm country of PA . I just recently acquired 5 chicks n 2 ducklings. I've had chickens before but ducks are new for me so I'm super excited to have a community of knowledged and experienced chicken and duck owners to learn from and with !!! I'm so excited and my heart already belongs to my new crew !!! ❤❤❤

They're so cute! Is the brooder dry? Oftentimes when people brood ducklings and chicks together, the ducks soak the brooder and chill the chicks.

I've been having to change out bedding quite a bit due to the ducklings fondness of water splashing lol. I have a separate place for the chicks but is it weird to say they seem to enjoy the ducklings company ?? Do you recommend separating the chicks n ducklings ???

I do recommend separating them for the health of the chicks.

Welcome to BYC! Cute babies. I think you can keep them all together as long as the ducklings aren't getting the chicks wet.
