I'm new to your site but not new to chickens.
I have 2 lovely commercial hens, 2 silkie roosters and my new little chick which was my first ever hatch, and he/she is an Appenzeller Spitz.
I spend most days hanging out with my chickens, digs, cats and guinea pig

We're getting a lot of rain here in Oregon, too. Only another 5 months till we see the sun again... then it'll be too hot!

Ah yes, you have very similar weather to us. My husband goes to portland a few times a year for work as that's where the HQ is.
