Hi everyone. The mrs told me about this forum and thought i should join.
We have many chucks and ducks however am currently having a battle with red mite . i am doing the my best to keep on top of it with the various powders and stuff so hope they go away pretty soonish

Hi from rainy Gloucestershire! What have you tried on your mites? I use diatemaceous earth and absolutely swear by it. I've barely seen the wee critters since I started using it 2 years ago.

Happyhens1972. Ihave been using DE aswel as it come highly recommended by the guy in the chicken supply shop i go to.
Also got poultry shield and red mite powder and even tried a fumer bomb thingy but i think it was a little small for the size of our coop.
