Hi!

I have been raising chickens for about six years and currently have 30 hens and one happy rooster. I started breeding Black Sex Links and Rhode Island Reds this spring and have found in this economy that chick hatching and raising has been lucrative. I enjoy chickens although they aren't that smart, but have found that every phrase such as "hen-pecked" or "don't be such a chicken" has happened in my chicken yard. I look forward to learning and sharing on this site. I had a hard time finding an unused username so I chose one of my chickens' names!
