Hello BYC community!
I’ve been reading and learning from BYC for several years now but haven’t officially joined until now. We have a 10 acre “hobby farm” in Cocoa FL with 2 paint quarter horses, 2 mini horses, 5 Nigerian dwarf goats, 2 Great Pyrenees puppies, a house mutt rescue dog, 2 cats and a lot of chickens! One thing I’ve learned over the years is that “chicken math” is really a thing! We currently have between 50-60 chickens and are in the process of building a new barn to support our crazy farm addiction!
I’ve been working on building a flock of Tolbunt Polish Frizzles for the past couple of years. I started with hatching eggs from Omega Hills and Greenfire farms originally a few years ago and have done several hatches from those. As you can imagine, I have ended up with way too many roosters and I need to rehome some of them. Is anyone interested in any of them? I have both smooth and frizzle.
I appreciate everyone here in the BYC community for sharing their wisdom and advice throughout my hobby farm journey so far. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in my chicken craziness!
