Hi!

I found the forum whilst searching for info on my sick chook Scarlet (I've just posted info in emergencies) Found lots of useful info.

I've had these guys for two weeks

Light Sussex
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Silky Bantum
Plymouth Rock

I just got a black labradore puppy for xmas and am looking into buying a minature goat and a sheep soon!

I only moved to the valley from the city life a couple of months ago so this is all new to me but I'm loving my new life.

Any advice on my sick Plymouth would be appreciated

nice pics!! How is your rain situation over there in your living area? I heard on the us public radio today, Australia is really being hit with flooding?

The weather has been Crazy!! The floods at the moment are mostly further north but we have had serious rain and snow ! (in the middle of summer) and then yesterday was 40 degrees celcius! Thanks for the welcome!

from middle Tennessee, USA. Good morning Australia! I have always wanted to go to see your side of the world! I doubt I will ever make it over, but isn't it cool we can communicate online! You will find a huge amount of info on this site. After I found it I spent days and days just reading and reading, trying to learn as much as possible and enjoying everyone's pictures of their chickens and coops. I still check it out nearly everyday to see what else I can learn. Hope you find out what is wrong with your Scarlett.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! What a forum & community to be a part of! I think I have expanded my knowledge 100% already and have spent the good part of 48 hours obsessed with reading every relevant (and non relevant) topic! Looking forward to becoming a knowledgable chicken carer and meeting some great people

from Mn. I loved to see the flocks of cockatoos and parrots flying overhead in Australia when I visited. A wonderful place in many ways. I want to take DH back there one day.
