Not sure how I found this site but I'm sure glad I did! I am currently converting a large dog run into a chicken coop for my grandkids who recently have moved to the 'country' outside of Ripon, Ca. I would like to start them out with some silkies- not chicks- but maybe 4 or 5 months old. I'm having a hard time finding any! But then I found this site with all sorts of chicken lovers just like me! I'm sure I'll find some silkies as well as some answers to questions I have. Thank you in advance!
 
Welcome from just an hour away! I go to school at Sierra College in Rocklin, and I go shopping in Roseville quite a bit. Let me know if you ever need someone to talk chickens with, or want to come visit someone's flock!

Hi… I just stumbled upon this site. I will have a few baby chicks next week for a photography session, but then I need to find a new home for them. I'm happy to give them to someone. I'm in Lincoln, CA (not far from Roseville/Rocklin). Do you know of a place or a person who may want them? Thank you so much!
