So glad to meet you all! My husband got 3 hens as chicks about 4 years ago for eggs and to enjoy their company and antics. I got to name them (Fluffy, Buffy and Sissy). So, I couldn't resist any longer and had to adopt my own! Fair's fair, so Hubby got to name them (Star, Blue, Butter and Light). Still unsure if all are girls. I picked them out straight run from a local teen raising his own chickens. They are 5 weeks old now, out in the new coop, and we're finishing up enclosing the final run. Woot!
