Your Speckled Sussex is BEEYUUUTIFULL!!! I just got five baby chicks and one of them is an SS - I can't wait for her to grow up and hopefully look like yours!
Do you have hardware cloth over that coop material? I've been reading a lot of posts lately about nasty predators getting into coops - just want to make sure everything is secure for your birds. We put hardware cloth down a foot under our pen for which I'm very glad - a friend put hers six inches down and is having rats tunneling beneath and getting into the pen.
