Hi Everyone,
I found your website because my crazy son who is in college in SF thought that he should raise chickens in his in-law apartment. Unfortunately, "Brenda", "Patty", and "Clarice" passed on peacefully before they could lay eggs.
My son now lives in a house with a backyard and has a new chicken, "ExtraCrispy". I told him that it's not a good idea to name your food.
It is now time for Extra to come to the dinner table. (she doesn't know she's the main course) I thought that your forum would be a great place to learn about caring for chickens. I am also pleased to know that there are other people in the world (and san Francisco) who are not crazy and raise their own chickens.
I am still trying to get over trying to not think that my son is insane and needs professional mental health services.
