My wife and I have been hatching eggs for a few years (and returning the chickens to the donor farm when they are too large). We finally moved to a house with a backyard so now we're constructing the Mod Coop. It was literally the first coop plan I saw on the site - way way before we bought a house and really wanted to have a go at it.
We have 8 5 week old chickens, a few are roosters which we can't keep. The coop is not quite ready, so we're keeping them indoors... which is sort of working...
So we're trying to work doubley-fast on getting the outdoor coop ready before they take over our TV room.
