Hello from Conway, SC, near Myrtle Beach! I've been reading on here for a while, but just joined up a few minutes ago. It seems like a great place!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Fairly new to chickens. My then fiance brought home 3 from the Tractor Supply Company back in March. I've since got 5 more from My Pet Chicken. I love them all!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 8 chickens. I have a feeling I've got an addiction to them, though.
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 D'Uccles, 2 Black Australorps, a White Leghorn, RIR, Welsummer, Silver Cuckoo Marans
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Surfing the net after finding out that I had my first 3 chickens back in March.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Acting, dancing, playing music, (don't laugh too hard) Christmas lights to the extreme--I plan 24/7/365 for Christmas, water gardening, gardening in general.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a wonderful wife. We got married in May. We have the 8 chickens, as well as 2 budgie parakeets, 3 dogs, and a betta. I travel all over the Carolinas as a contra dance caller, and work full-time for FedEx. I love life and love living it! It always has something new and exciting in store!
