Hi Everyone, I am looking to start my first little flock of chickens. The coop and 2 yards are ready. I I am looking for barred rocks because they are known to be friendly and I have a small child care on my mini farm of about 4 acres. I am hoping to provide first hand science and love of nature here for the children. We already have a fruit and vegetable garden, but seeing chicks grow and helping to care for them can be very fun and educational. I am open to suggestions and advice as I am a first timer. Thanks!
