Was farm raised free ranged and pasture feed in Texas near Shiner.
Have a small hobby farm here in Va.
At this point strictly sustainus farming.. We have grown our own varies fruits etc for years.. On my families ranch in TV we raised cattle for market traded veggies as part of the town coop.. Most everything other than cattle was for family sustainus (milk, chickens, hogs, sheep turkeys etc)
Chickens were primarily for eggs but mostly dual purpose birds we butcher as needed for the table. Never in large batches.
Just recently we started raising chickens here in Va. Have plans for adding Turkey and Duck in terms of poultry.
