I am just beginning in bantams, and am interested in rosecombs . I retire in May and recently got 2 trio sets from Leslie Bennett. I researched and felt she was pretty highly acclaimed. I have put a deposit on a pair of birds from Dr. Patterson for this spring. I will use these 2 lines to cross in the future. I also raise and show Tennessee Walking Horses, but have slowed down due to a few pretty serious horse injuries. I look forward to getting a lot of great advice from this board.

Glad you joined us!

Good luck with your Rosecombs! They're beautiful birds.

Welcome to BYC. I'm glad you decided to join our flock. I'm envious; Tennessee Walkers are supremely comfortable riding horses. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Rosecombs.

We're glad to have you.

Good luck with your Rosecombs! You are getting some from really good lines; the Bennetts and Dr. Bill Patterson win quite often with their birds.

Thanks, in my reading about getting into bantams, it said to get the best birds you could. That is where I have begun. If I do get into some OEGB, I read that Fields and Proctor are very good. I met Otis Fields at the Knoxville show, but he did not seem very interested in parting with any birds. He did suggest I speak to Proctor if I had any interest in Ginger Red OEGB, which I do.
