Hello from So Cal!

We have had chickens for about 18 months. I always go to this site when I have questions. Almost every question I have ever had about chickens has been answered here. . I have some new chicks (4month -ish). I was guaranteed that they are all hens (since I already have a dominant rooster) yet I think some are showing rooster characteristics. help! LOL.

Welcome to BYC, I agree the site is loaded with information. I also recently joined after many months of pursuing the site for info, wish I had joined sooner so I could personally thank people I borrowed ideas from, so many posts it is hard to go back and relocate them.

Two of my 8 "pullets" are are looking more he than she - so much for 90% accuracy! Lost my only EE last week to a hawk

, so did some of the chicken math everyone talks about and replaced her with two Iowa Blue pullets.
