Thank you all for the warm welcome! I asked around a bit and found out that you are allowed 4 hens in the city limits, no roosters allowed. That being said, when my dad lived here a few years back he had a neighbor across the street that had a rooster for a good 2-3 years. I am not that lucky of course, I would get nailed. I am thinking it may be time to politely ask around I would really like to have fresh eggs again, plus my daughter is 7 years old and has expressed some interest.
