Thank you everyone! I feel very welcomed. I lurked for so long because I felt like I didn't have much to contribute, not really having my own chickens and not having enough experience to really help anyone else. I have learned a lot in my time lurking though! As for my name, thank you for the compliment! I wish I could take credit, but that goes to my parents. It's actually a family name, I have 2 great aunt Aila/Ila's.

I hope this isn't against the "bumping" rules for posts, but I really want to get enough posts in so that I can have pictures.

I'm going to start building my coop soon *fingers crossed* and I really want to take some progress pics. I've seen how it is here, you mention "coop" or "baby chicks" and heaven help you if you don't have pics!
