Hello everyone, I'm new here AGAIN:/ I moved here to Cairo, GA a little over a year ago from a little town called Loganville, just outside of Atlanta. I used to be a member on here but when we moved and we changed servers I had to rejoin. I had to give away all my chickens when we moved, cause I didn't have a pen and house built at our new farm. Oh how I miss my chickens and their beautiful, tasty eggs! We have just completed my new barn and are about to break ground on our house. DH has promised to build me a chicken tractor next month. (I can't hardly wait!)

Anyway, I raise camels, zebras and goats. I also have some horses, ponies, donkey, dogs, and one capybara.

from UT! Glad you joined us! Sounds like you have quite a menagerie. I had to google capybaras - wow - what kind of pets to they make? Where on earth did you even find one to have as a pet?

Hello From Cols. Ga.
I think Atlanta has good chicken laws. I think they are OK in most counties. + Ga. has the right to farm law.

I used to raise capybaras and this one is from a litter that the mom just orphaned. I purchased my original breeder pair from a guy from Louisiana. My capybara (his name is Cranberry) is VERY lovable. He will walk on a leash and will ALWAYS come when I call. (better than some of my dogs) Here's a photo of him having a little snack!

That is the most adorable picture! I can imagine him being walked on a leash (at the Australia Zoo they lead the wombats around on leashes, which of course, being tourists, we had to take 100 pictures of it
