Hello!

I have never joined any sort of forum and am hoping I can figure this all out! I have just hatched my first set of chicken eggs and it was a disaster. I'm hoping to get to know some people that have done this before and can give me some insight into what I might have done wrong and what I can improve upon as I was heartbroken through this last process.

I have a backyard flock that make me very happy. I think my children think that I prefer the chickens over them but I do enjoy the chickens and it has been a really fun experience for us all.

Welcome to BYC from BC! and we just set ourfirst ever batch of eggs. It was a disaster too, nothing went right, if it could have gone wrong, it did. But, one did hatch!
