Proud to share that thanks to my daughter, I've fulfilled a life-long dream of having my own backyard chickens. We FINALLY found five rough lookin' Golden Comet hens and they're wonderful, very consistent layers. Bought six Buff Orpingtons, at TS seven weeks ago and they're in a brooder, doing good. Last but not least, she has 18 eggs hatching now, (some hatched last night) for my brother in law, who gifted her the eggs. Kinda chicken obsessed at this point and here to learn as much as I can to keep ours happy and healthy.
