Hello from Southern Missouri!

Thanks, everyone!

I just went out to check on them and I saw two recent bloody droppings. =( I had hoped that they were getting better. I didn't see any others, though, even from last night in their coop. Is this a good or bad sign? This is their fourth day of drinking Corid in their water.

The chicken who was the sickest (Muffin) is a Buff Orpington and is so cute. She looks like a big fluffy chick still (with feathers). She runs to wherever I am and cheeps until I pick her up. Ahh so cute. I hope they all get better asap.

Keep up with the corid. I am not sure how long you can continue with corid. But if this continues, there is someone here that might be able to help you. This guys knows it all....

His name is Jim. He is a very nice guy and really knows all about illness and how to treat many things, especially those that are difficult to cure. Just mouse over beneath his avatar where it says Send Private Message. You can tell him that TwoCrows sent you. LOL He knows me well. :-)

Welcome to BYC.

Annalise the background in your profile pic makes me homesick! I was born and raised in south Missouri but now live in northern Missouri. I hope your chickens have recovered?

Thank you for the info, TwoCrows! I will refer to him if we have other problems.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Luckily, there is no more blood and our chickens are looking and acting great! Even the one we thought we were going to lose is doing fine, like she was never sick. Hooray!

GREAT to hear they are better! I was thinking about you the other day wondering how things were going. :-)
