Hello from sunny Southern Georgia!

We are very excited here at our house! We've wanted chickens for AGES but the ex would not stand for what he called "red-neck ideas" (nor would he allow my gardens but that's a whole other forum LOL). Well... the ex is EX and we are here, and now that the gardens are all in, it's time for chickens! I'd say the trade up of ex for chickens puts me in the WIN category.

We are brand new to having our OWN chickens though I have helped others with THIERS. Still, I need to do a lot of research so I do right by our future "ladies", and will be digging vigorously (or shall I say "scratching"?) through the forum. Fun stuff!
