Hello everyone. What a fantastic website you have here.

Thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Lucas. I am 21 and currently at University. Love the out doors and will be moving to the US to do a masters after I have graduated.

Looking to buy some chickens soon, whilst needing to build a coop and a pen for them so any help would be fantastic as I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to building coops.

We used to have about 20 chickens and unfortunately after many attempts to keep the foxes away, one night they killed every single one.

It is quite upsetting as a 10 year old child to feed them in the morning and pick up their eggs to find they all are missing their heads.

So anyways my brothers and I will be looking to buy some after the building has finished.

Hi Lucas, Im new as well and as we speak hubby is building the coop lol
Cant wait to post pictures of coop and the new girls when we get them. Welcome and I love this site.

I am decided to use an old stable for the chicken coop. Its big, but its safe and secure and the foxes wont dig underneath.
