My name is Mary, I live outside of Nashville, TN.
I started raising chickens in 2009 when my daughter received a pair for Easter. She named them Jack & Jill both have moved on now .
3 years ago I bought 3 Australorp hens Bessie, Sally & Gertie. They have been a joy to have. Jill was a pullet and did not like me at all.. But my girls now are much nicer. I can only get them to eat from my hand, and that is ok.
I have received a lot of tips & info from this site so thank you for that.
