Hello from Tennessee!
I live on a small farm in south-central Tennessee. My husband and I have owned chickens for a little over a year now. I refer to our peaceful farm as my "Little House on the Prairie.
I love it out here!
We recently decided to begin specializing in purebred Wheaten Ameraucana chickens. I love their sweet demeanor and their beautiful blue eggs. I have a small flock of 8 week old purebred Wheaten Ameraucana's that I purchased from Paul Smith in Texas. We are excited about our new endeavor at "Once in a Blue Moon Farmstead."
Here is a photo of one of our birds! I call this one "Little Eagle."
Here are a few other pics of our 8 week old chicks! Some of them are a little blurry!
We are also going to have a very small flock of French Black Copper Marans.
I'm looking forward to being a part of "Backyard Chickens!"
