I am not totally new to Chickens. Have had them off and on all my life. But I have learned thanks to “the google” that I wasn’t ever doing it quite right . So now my goal is to do a better job of it. And more Brahmas!
I currently have a dozen chicks and chickens under a year old. Various ages from 2 weeks to 6 months. 2 Buff Orpington. 2 Black Australorps, 2 RIR, 3 EEs, 1 each Speckled Sussex, Brahma and Cuckoo Marans. See? Need more Brahmas
I love the various colors of their eggs. I love knowing my eggs come from happy chickens.
I also enjoy Beekeeping, road cycling and felting. I’m currently in the early stages of building a home on 6.7 acres and working towards getting an Ag exemption with my bees.
I am retired Postmaster, sharing this property with my mother and BF. I have adult Children and teenage grands even though I am very young
i found this group when I search “the google”. Thought I should join so I stand a better chance of having happy chickens!
