Hello ya'll Thanks for all the welcomes! I lost my way and never could figure out how to follow up a thread! Got it now... I have five children and an adopted son that falls in our door when it is opened and sometimes (most times) when It isn't. We love him like he's ours so this is fine with us. There are various other critters and children that come and go...we occasionally recue stuff...horses...and donkeys mostly well dogs too....oh and a couple cats...ok we DO rescue. but I really just wanna play wiff the chickens!

But have had people call and nearly beg us to take horses,(we did) have had people back down our driveway and open their trailer and release two colts into our "compound" and we wake up to horses loose and hungry..
We are relatively new to chickens but I have studied them intensely for months...and read ALOT on here! Thank you all for the warm welcome!!
