Hello.

My name is Nicholas and hand been raising and showing cchickens for over 20 years. (Meat chickens). Well decided to get into the egg chickens. From a ag background I plan on doing lots of Experimenting. As for now I have 10 Easter eager hens, 20 cuckoo Maran hens (4 weeks old) and 20 Welsomer hens on order due in February.

Should be a fun journey

Thanks and hope to have a great journey here

Thanks. Having a lot of trouble with incubators. Hatch rates are terrible. Think I'm fixing to build one. Any critiques welcome. Temp on little giant is hard. I have even added a good hydrometer and good temp gauges and still having trouble. So I want to build one that I can keep perfect as far as temp and humidity. Seems like a good project. Heck I have over a 100$ in accessories on my little giant so should be able to build one for little of nothin

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy BYC; not only is it overflowing with lots of useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures about chickens, turkeys, duck, quail, Peas and pretty much any other feathered and non feathered friends
