Hello from Texas!

Hello!

I thought it's probably time to join the community, since I've been viewing the forums for months. My family and I purchased three chicks in March from our local feed store. They originated from Privett Hatchery. We chose one Buff Orpington which we named Buffy the Chicken Slayer or "Buffy", one Gold Laced Wyandotte named Winifred Wyandotte "Winnie", and one Ameraucana (Easter Egger?) named Lady Liberty "Libby". Our girls are now 15 weeks old. We keep them in a small coop with a run, and generally allow them to free range in our back yard for a few hours each day. It's been a joy watching them grow, and we look forward to collecting our first eggs in the coming months!
