Hi my name is deana and i live in decatur texas. I am a new mommy to 6 rhode island reds and atleast 13 rescued chickens. different breeds. I will need to find out the breeds from hubby. I know atleast 1 is a leghorn, 2 are silkie cochins i think. We are new to the chicken wrld and having a blast. we are just now starting to get some eggs in the last month or so i think. I was sooo exicted i had to take pics. As soon as i get my internet up and running on my home computer i will post pics. I am on hubbys laptop that he uses for wrk.

We also have 4 quail i think they are buttons not sure. Hubby brought them home got them off craigslist.

I have been married 16 yrs, we have 3 girls ages 19, 15, and 13. My oldest is going to have our first grandbaby in March.

we are also owned by 4 dogs, cat, fish, rabbit, 2 cockatiels, and 1 quaker.

looking forward to learning all from you and making some new friends.

thanks for the welcomes.
been sitting on my couch now for about 3 hours trying to read just about everything that i can lol
its 2:30 in the am now and time for bed.
i will try and get back on tomorrow night. having to share hubbys wrk laptop for now till we get our internet up and running. we just moved out here to decatur texas from fort worth texas. only 30 minutes away. but love it out here in the country.
