(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I was raised around 2 different flocks growing up but currently do not own any.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0
(3) What breeds do you have? still in the coop building and flock planning stage
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? personalities, eggs and meat
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? fishing, gardening, rabbits
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I've been married 24 years come May. We have 3 daughters and a son. Our son is the youngest at 16. 2 of our daughters are married and 1 gave us a grandson 3 years ago and is about to have our second grandson in August ( she just found out he was a boy yesterday). We own 1 Great Dane and 1 Dane Mix.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found BYC while doing research on chickens. This site seemed to always be at the top of my google searches while I am trying to find the answers I'm looking for. I decided to join so I could ask questions directly instead of my searches only giving me half the answer I was looking for.
