Hello from Texas

Thanks. When will I see a difference to tell males and females? 7-8 weeks?
I'm fairly new to ducks, I only got them about a year ago and ordered all females, and surprisingly did get all girls! So I don't have any personal experience with males.
But at 7-8 weeks you should be able to tell by voice. Females have more of a loud quack and males are raspy. I took this video of my duck's voices so it should help you. All are girls.
To add, drakes tend to get their voices later. So if you have some quiet ones compared to others that could be a sign of a drake.

At around 12 weeks I believe, drake could start getting a drake curl on their tail. I also believe most breeds of drakes get that "ring" around their neck where the girls typically don't get that as much. I know my Buff girls are completely solid in color and the boys have that ring around their neck.
