Hello from the Baker Nut Hut and Chicken Ranch

I'm Kerri Baker and I'm absolutely loving my backyard chickens! I live in a rough Sioux City neighborhood, but thanks to a stroke of luck, my husband and I have just little over half an acre which we are slowly making into a mini-farm. This is the first time in...um, several years since I've had chickens. I have 2 Polish chickens (one hen, one rooster), 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Cochin, and 1 Americana, all.hens. They are so funny and have their own little quirks. I'm hoping to learn and grow as a new chicken mama!
