Hello everyone!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am relatively new to chickens. I've had my current flock since October of last year, so just over a year!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have twelve.
(3) What breeds do you have? Barred Rocks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I think it has to be their personalities. I love how different they are from each other. Watching flock dynamics is fun too!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am a writer. I am also a hobby photographer and try to run a farm/photography Instagram when I have the time.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have one dog. I am doing NaNoWriMo this year, much to my potential regret.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Every time I search for chicken information online, I find this forum. So I decided to join! I'm glad to be here!
