Hi!! My name is Christina, am 22, and not exactly new to having chickens. lol My mom had thirty chickens of several breeds when I was around eleven years old, however we just never got more after most were killed by an unknown predator, and the rest died of other causes. BUT (!) our family has just recently gotten a brand new flock! =) My mom has fourteen beautiful two and a half month old Buff Orphingtons, four Americaunas, and two Ocelots (sp?) that are around two and a half weeks old. I personally am more parcial to the feather footed varieties of chicken, and found three of the sweetest Cochins there ever were at a local Mom and Pop feed store about five days ago. =) We are not sure what size of Cochin I have- as we have never had them before... I believe them to be about two or three weeks old, however they seem a little small (maybe they are Bantam? The bin they were in simply called them Cochins, and I didn't know about there being different sizes of the breed). Any idea wether I have Bantam or Standard Cochins? Anyway, here's my three babies! =)
