Hi! I'm a new guy to all this and happened upon this wonderful site! Reading all the tidbits of info really clinched me into being confident that I could raise some backyard chickens! So last week I went to the local feed store picked up 3 Amerucana's and all the necessary items to raise these peeps! I have 6 kids and they are so excited to help out with the chicks, I hope to keep them interested in them and the garden we are starting. The chicks are about a week old and growning fast!! I will post up some pics of them soon!!
