I am still trying to source out where I can get Marans, Americanas, Legbars, and some Olive Eggers in my part of Canada. The main hatcheries here are out of the equation as they require a minimum of 25 birds per order, and I have promised my husband that we should be only needing a flock of about 10. I would love to support a small local hatchery if (or should I say when) I find one.
Welcome to chicken keeping! I use Bergs hatchery in Manitoba, I think their min is 4 birds and I believe they have ameraucanas
