Hello from the Green Swamp!

I have been raising ducks for 3 years now and chickens (once again) now for 2 years. I have 40ish Pekins and 60ish Light Brahmas. I also have just started with Royal Palm Turkeys. I am on my third generation of ducks and second for the chickens from hatching them from eggs. I use portable electric netting to keep the predators out and the birds in. I try to adapt Joel Salatin's / Justin Rhodes' methods to my situation. I raise them to provide sustainable, healthy, home-grown, humanely-raised food for my family. I also enjoy their beauty and antics.
