Hello from the heartland!

I started raising chickens when one of my boys brought home an orphan flock. Then my youngest son & I started incubating eggs. I'm anxious to hatch quail eggs next...As for the photo, LET THEM EAT CAKE!

So how is your cake eaten flock going now and have you been getting ready to hatch out some quail yet

I hate to to ask this off y'all, but I've been searching this site for an hour trying to find out how to ask the group a question. I did related searches on the egg issue I'm having but didn't find much of an answer. Can anyone give me a clue? I got 8 expensive eggs in the mail today for our incubator and they are all sloshing! I am afraid I just got jerked around :(

Sounds like the egg's got shaken up somewhere along in the Mail this happens sometimes

The best you can hope for is to try the egg's in the incubator for 5 to 7 day's then candle them

Good luck in your incubator endeavors and even the best care is not a guarantee and we all have nothing but problems but it is the moments where we get them little fluff balls that make it all worth the effort so enjoy and happy hatching
