No, I got my first RIR in 2010

over 100 as of 4/20/19

light and dark Brahma
cuckoo marans
BC marans (some french standard some English)
isbar
amerucana
wyandotte
white leghorn
cream legbar
and
The mystery rooster ( he may be phased out with the direction I take my flock but he makes beautiful crosses with the Brahma and Wyandotte)


(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
It calms me

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
bee keeping, showing/training dogs, gardening, horse riding, managing pecan trees, being a wife and mother.

I have a Blue wyandotte hen with nearly black legs, but she's hatchery stock. I've heard because hatcheries need to produce so much, strict culling isn't practiced and some of the SOP is lost. I don't mind though. Your guy is gorgeous either way!
