I became a chicken owner on 6/1/21 when I purchased 4 ISA Brown pullets from TSC when they were 1 week old. The are now 19 weeks and at least one chicken has began laying eggs. I saw my first egg on 9/30/21. I was soooo excited. I have gathered 6 eggs so far.
I chose chickens after starting a backyard container garden. I watched a lot of YouTube and decided to give it a try.
My children are all grown. My youngest is in college and still lives at home with us. I have a miniature schnauzer who is pretty funny with our lil ladies. I say he’s “Hen-Pecked”.
I found out about this group when I did a google search on my chickens’ breed.
