(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

Yes... we got 4 chicks about 3 years ago - 2 New Hampshires and 2 Road Island Reds. Within a month, it was clear one of the New Hampshire girls was different He turned out to be a beautiful rooster that we had to re-home.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Only 1.

(3) What breeds do you have?

She's a Road Island Red.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Talking to her and watching her hunt and peck.
